Drifter Sister is my alter ego because I travel - mostly with my sister Karen - all over the world, and have spent summers working at National parks and other remote locations with my friend, Chuck. Two of my passions are travel and photography, and I am very pleased to share with you some of the beautiful and interesting sights I've seen, such as African landscapes and animals, penguins, iceburgs, the Oregon coast, Grand Canyon, wildflowers, Peru and other tourist locales from around the world. I am proud to now offer Catch the Wind Tours -- small group tours to villas and exciting destinations around the world. In 2010, three tours are still available: Africa, France, and Mexico. Spaces are available for all of these tours, however some are going fast. France is limited to just 12 spaces. Tours for 2011 are being firmed up (National Parks of the Southwest, Tuscany, Spain, Alaska, and New York during the holiday season), and plans for 2012 are already formulating. Check them out on my TRAVEL page.
I guess you could consider me a "seasoned" traveler, so on my TRAVEL page I offer some insights and tips that might be of help to you as you travel and take your own photos. While working my rather exotic summer jobs I was often asked many questions, including how I got the job, so I have included information about that as well. I hope you will visit Drifter Sister often, so we can get to know each other. You might even want to add this site to your list of favorites. I will be adding images, products, and more tours as this site evolves, and the tips and stories will be updated often.
